The India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) in collaboration with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and International Institute of Security & Safety Management (IISSM) are organizing the 11 th edition of international Exhibition of Security, Safety, Fire, Disaster Management Equipment and Services in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This exhibition which was earlier panned during the month of December 2007 has been rescheduled form December 2007 to February 2008 and will now be held concurrently with DEFEXPO’2008 which is organized by Defiance Exhibition in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The venue of the exhibition has also been shifted to Hall No.7 which is centrally air-conditioned. The re-scheduling of the exhibition was considered necessary by ITPO as the month of December is a holiday season in Europe and America and foreign exhibitors and business delegations do not prefer to go on business trips during this period.

This exhibition which is taking place concurrently with DEFEXPO in Pragati Maidan will provide an ideal platform to bring together the producers, suppliers and consumers of the security, safety, fire protection, disaster management equipments and related products. The event will also showcase the advances made in diverse range of equipment and technologies relevant to the rapidly modernization needs of the present day security set up.

The 10 th edition of International Security, Safety, Fire Exhibition. New Delhi in 2005 attracted participation of 132 companies including overseas exhibitors from UK, USA, Italy, Hong Kong, Canada, France, Korea and Australia. The fair was visited by 20,000 business visitors. It was the biggest B to B exhibition in its category and 83% of the exhibitors reportedly their participation as cost effective.
